There is another cool video about Shepherd's Field out this morning. A few glimpses of the Butterfly can be found by those paying close attention. (guilty.)
Shepherd's Field is an amazing place with truly wonderful people and I never grow tired of hearing their story but knowing it is being told by and to the Chinese is even more powerful.
Foreign aid workers and international adoption are needed but they are a drop of water in the ocean when compared to the scope and scale of the orphan crisis. Real hope for these kids can only come through changes in politics, economics and cultural attitudes towards these children. Communicating the need is a necessary first step.
