The Kazakh Adoption Process

1. Complete Agency Application and Adoption Agreement
2. Select Homestudy Agency and complete required paperwork.
3. Homestudy completed by social worker and sent to BCIS for approval.
4. Submit BCIS application to local branch office.
5. Begin Kazakstan Foreign Dossier.
6. Receive BCIS approval.
7. Dossier sent to Kazak Consulate for authentication.
8. Dossier sent to Kazakstan for Invitation to Travel.
9. Family travels to Kazakstan to complete adoption.
