In Honor of Princess Nina Beatrice...

 December 20, 2010

We started Nina's 4th birthday party with a trip to Bippity Boppity Boutique for a princess makeover.

Snow White is Nina's favorite...I thought she made a darling Snow White at this point but hair and makeup were still to come and oh boy was the hair something!

Macy opted for Sleeping Beauty....she and Nina both were nervous about the whole deal.

Here are my two Princesses mid makeover. At this point both girls wanted to leave.  Honestly it was a bit overwhelming for them...4 might have been to young but we pressed on.

Here is where it got 'ugly", this woman is showing Nina her options for hair and of course Nina chose the PINK hair. So much for the simple bun I asked them to do.

Finally after our makeover we met up with three other Kaz Princesses for lunch at the castle.  We almost go everyone in the picture.  Macy was again nervous about meeting Cinderella.

...but eventually she came around.

The kaz mamas wore their crowns for the occasion too.

Most darling princesses at court!

Macy and Sadie were so exited to have "their" princess stop by our table.

Here is a shot to show the moms in action...really I'm not sure who was more excited the moms or the kids.

It's her party and she can sleep if she wants to!

Later that night we went back to our hotel room to catch up with one another.  These women are not just the princesses moms they are some of my best friends and I was thrilled to get together with them.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

 December 19, 2010

We met up with a few of my absolute favorite people in Disney for the Mickey Christmas Party.  It was so much fun, mostly because of the awesome company we shared.  Since I could not recap the event any better than my perfect EMO friend Susan did, I'm just going to share the link to her awesome post on the evening.

Merriest Moms (and Dad) in the park! (Although I am pretty sure Susan was crying tears of joy by this point.)

A heroic act of bravery!

Yup, we got moves!

Sadie loves to dance and Nina had fun too as long as the horse kept it's distance.

Dance party Printy's....I think Nina is snapping her fingers, no idea what I'm doing???

Mom's of the year out with the kids until 2am...Kristan (blond), Susan and Lori (pineapples-brown on the outside, blond on the inside), we are perfectly matched in our "perfectness" (cough, cough)

Printy's In Florida (again)

 December 18, 2010

Minne just appeared form nowhere and Macy ran right into her arms.

Princess stalkers!

Parade Printy's...hard to believe I was in the ER with a fever of 103 just and hour later.  I'm so Disney hard core:)

My nephew Ethan literally on his way home from a year long mission trip in Nepal.  He pit stopped in Orlando to meet up with the family.  Love this kid.

Any princess, even a plastic one, makes the girls silly.

The Printy clan heading for La Nouba.

The Printy girls donned in their matching black boots.

The Boys.

Kiefer really loves playing with his new sister

Nina yelling for Ryan to run faster!

Macy loved her pink remote control car.

One of the few photos of all seven of us...I think it still counts even if Nina was sound asleep.

Hey Dart and Lori You Just Adopted Your Second Daughter in 14 Months...Now What Are You Going to Do?

 June 12, 2010

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND OF COURSE!

I have to admit I got some grief for wanting to take Macy to Disney Hong Kong but I am so glad we went.  We are Disney people no doubt about it and our newest addition may as well get indoctrinated now. The truth is the minute we walked through the doors of the hotel I almost felt like I was home...or something pretty darned close to it.  It is amazing how well Disney translates.  Macy had a great time---she's gonna fit right in with our Disney silly family.  (BTW Hong Kong in June is like Florida in June only MORE humid!!)

We are heading home in the morning and should arrive in Cleveland around 5pm (est) Sunday afternoon.  I've been tearing up all day (all tears of joy and relief and anticipation of seeing my other kids) and I have lots of my typical Lori emo thoughts on this trip I want to share.  But for now I will leave you with the photos from our day at Disney Hong Kong because I need to sleep and pack (hopefully not in that order).

Bathing Beauties

 October 19, 2009

I have so many pictures from vacation that I want to share I'm going to post them a few at a time.  Here are my favorite pictures from our first day at The Caribbean Resort at Disney.  We met up with three members of my Kaz Mama 3 Day Team; Kristan, Sandi and Susan. The weather was tropical and perfect for a day at the pool.  We had a great time chatting away and getting to know each other better (as much as is possible with four active kids).

I know you can't tell when it is dry but this is how long Nina's hair is when you pull it straight.

Kaz Mamas and Kaz Daughters; Me & Nina, Susan & Leeza, Kristan & Sadie, Sandi & Finley

Nina loved running around and chasing the birds.  I love how her feet are not even touching the ground!

You have no idea how hard it was to get this picture!

Leeza and Nina doing some  intense "sharing"????

Sadie and Nina the oldest of the girls played well together.
